Ann Curry interviews Brad in New Orleans for the "Today" show.

BRAD PITT sits down with ANN CURRY in New Orleans for an exclusive interview airing on NBC's "Today" show today and Thursday.

Brad, who owns a home in New Orleans with ANGELINA JOLIE, tells Ann about his efforts with Global Green USA's with the Holy Cross Project to help bring eco-friendly design techniques to the city as it continues to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.

"It's a justice issue," Brad tells Ann. "What we saw [after] Katrina is that there is a portion of our society that's being overlooked. ... We're not going to be able to bring back the friends and family that are lost ... but maybe we can provide a better way of life."

Brad also speaks about his love for the city. "This is an important city," he says. "It's important to us culturally [and] economically. ... I know a lot of the people here. I care very much for the area."
