This year, Samantha Harris enters her third season with Entertainment Tonight after previously serving as correspondent with companion show The Insider for two seasons.
In the past year, Harris traveled the globe interviewing some of the industry's biggest stars, including Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in Seville, Spain; Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett and Michael Douglas at The Cannes Film Festival; as well as Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler in Maui. Harris also sat down with Princess Diana's brother Charles, Earl Spencer in London as he remembered his sister's wedding day in an exclusive interview. Additionally, Harris gained an exclusive interview with Lindsay Lohan just prior to Lohan serving her prison sentence.
Harris' other notable interviews include the cast of Glee, Oprah Winfrey, Shia LaBeouf, Hugh Jackman, Katherine Heigl, George Clooney, Anne Hathaway, Patrick Dempsey, Kate Hudson, Jim Carrey, John Travolta, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake and Olympic gold medalist Shaun White.
In 2009, Harris spent a week filling in for Meredith Vieira as host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Harris also made her Broadway debut in New York City, singing and dancing for sold-out audiences playing the iconic role of Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning musical Chicago.
Harris previously served as co-host of the popular ABC series, Dancing With the Stars for eight seasons. She also worked as a reporter for E! News and co-hosted the network's live awards show coverage for the Oscars, Golden Globes and the Emmys. Harris also anchored THS Investigates, a spin-off series from the producers of The E! True Hollywood Story, as well as a multitude of E! specials.
In 2008, Harris co-hosted the official live red carpet pre-show for the 80th Annual Academy Awards alongside Regis Philbin, which garnered nearly 1 billion viewers worldwide.
Prior to joining E!, Harris served as the weekend co-host for the nationally syndicated entertainment newsmagazine Extra. Harris's other hosting credits include Fox's The Next Joe Millionaire and AMC Access. Additionally, Harris has served as a guest co-host on ABC's The View.
A native of Hopkins, Minn., Harris graduated with honors from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Ill.
