Christina McLarty gained access to the Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills on Saturday, where stars from Nicole Kidman to Anne Hathaway honored their bosses.
"The producers work so hard," said presenter Nicole Kidman. "Having done it now -- once on Rabbit Hole -- I know what it takes, and I have such respect for what it takes ... It's a lot of work and it's unheralded work a lot of the time."
Some of the attendees were playing double duty.
"Don't forget I'm still an actor," said Argo director/producer/star Ben Affleck, joking that he's really just networking to land his next gig. "I'm hoping to lobby -- remind them."
Affleck walked away with top honors at the award show, winning for the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of a Theatrical Motion Picture.
"I'm very lucky tonight to be able to present [the David O. Selznick Achievement Award] to Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, who produced Les Miserables," said Hathaway. "It's an honor."
Other presenters included LL Cool J, Naomi Watts, Jennifer Garner, Kerry Washington, Jessica Alba, Damian Lewis, Ty Burrell, Matt Bomer, Julianna Margulies, Channing Tatum, Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, Chris Tucker, and more.
