Exclusive: Cooper Attending MTV Movie Awards

As the anticipation for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards continues to mount, ET has exclusively discovered that Bradley Cooper will attend the show.

Earlier this week, ET exclusively learned that the cast of the Fast & Furious franchise will be presenting at the ceremony.

The cast of the original Fast & Furious—Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, and Michelle Rodriguez—will present on stage at the awards show this Sunday as they await the May 24 release of Fast & Furious 6.

The Fast & Furious crew joins a slew of well-known celebrities who are slated to present at this year's awards show, including Brad Pitt, Steve Carell, Melissa McCarthy, Adam Sandler, and Chris Rock.

MTV has also announced today that Jamie Foxx will receive this year's Generation Award, MTV's highest honor bestowed upon "an actor who can be counted on to engage the MTV audience with everything he does."

"As a comedian, Academy award-winning actor and Grammy award-winning artist, Jamie Foxx is a triple-threat superstar unlike any we've seen in a long time," MTV president Stephen Friedman said of the Django Unchained actor.

"Jamie has captivated audiences for nearly two decades with a dizzying array of memorable performances, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate him at this year's Movie Awards."

Past recipients of the Generation Award include Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, Johnny Depp, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Ben Stiller, and Adam Sandler.

The 45-year-old actor may also be leaving the show with some more hardware, as he is nominated for four awards for his performance in Django Unchained: Best Male Performance, Best Fight, Best Kiss, and Best WTF Moment.

The show will be hosted by actress and comedienne Rebel Wilson, who will open the show with an a capella sketch with her Pitch Perfect cast mates.

The 2013 MTV Movie Awards will take place live (delayed on the West Coast) from the Sony Pictures Studios Lot Sunday at 9 p.m. on MTV.
