Hosted by Rebel Wilson, the MTV Movie Awards aired live from Sony Pictures Studios on Sunday night, taking their usual irreverent (albeit playful) swings at Hollywood.

Most of Wilson's jokes were made at her own expense, making light of her figure.

"I was a bit surprised they asked me to host, and so was MTV -- they thought I was Adele," the Pitch Perfect star joked at the top of the show.

The night's biggest winners were the stars of Marvel's The Avengers and Silver Linings Playbook. The Avengers took home Best Villain, Best Fight and the night's most prestigious award -- Movie of the Year. Silver Linings stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence won Best Male and Best Female Performance as well as Best Kiss.

Special awards included MTV Trailblazer (given to Emma Watson), Comedic Genius (claimed by Will Ferrell) and the Generation award (handed to Jamie Foxx).

Perhaps the biggest winners of the night were Hunger Games fans, who were rewarded with a new two-and-a-half-minute teaser trailer embedded below.
