Presented by the Alliance For Women In Media, the award ceremony honors women who have made exceptional contributions to the media industry in entertainment, commercials, news and other genres.

This year’s winner of the Outstanding Performance By A Female Rising Star award for ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars Lucy Hale said she is "flattered" by the honor.

'I came to this award show a couple years ago and I was just blown away by the caliber of women that were here and being honored, and to be included in that group of women tonight, you know, it means a lot to me."

"I thought God one day I want to be part of something that wins a Gracie because it means I'm putting something good out into the world," said E! host Giuliana Rancic, who picked up the Outstanding Reality Show award for Giuliana and Bill, the Style Network show Giuliana co-stars with her husband Bill Rancic.

She added, "So thank you so much to everyone at the Gracies. I love you. You're like a second family. Just thank you for always believing in me and just for inviting me."

For 60 years, the Alliance For Women in Media has given a voice and an outlet for women to express themselves and has hosted the Gracies for 30 years as a way to raise awareness for exceptional women's accomplishments.

Lana Parrilla who plays the villainous Regina aka Evil Queen in Once Upon Time was given the privilege of hosting the female-charged event. "I can't tell you how honored I feel to stand here today," she says.

Other big winners of the evening include Mindy Kahling who snagged Outstanding Producer for The Mindy Project; Parks and Rec’s Amy Poehler for Outstanding Female Actor for a Leading Role In a Comedy; HBO Game Change’s Julianne Moore who picked up the Outstanding Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Drama Special; and Lena Dunham who earned Outstanding Director for HBO’s Girls, to name a few.
