Stars React to Emmy Nominations
The stars wasted no time weighing in on the nominations for the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards -- which were announced early Thursday morning by How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris and Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul -- and we've got the latest reactions!
Claire Danes -- nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Homeland -- "It is truly a great day on the Homeland set with so many of my fellow castmates being nominated. I was going to do some serious screaming into pillows if Mandy hadn't gotten a nod. I'm also very glad that Henry Bromell, who we lost too soon, has been recognized for his extraordinary work on our show."
Edie Falco -- nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Nurse Jackie-- "It's a huge honor - genuinely exciting to be among these women in my category. These are actresses I've watched and loved for years."

Michael Douglas -- nominated for Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for Behind The Candelabra --"what a treat to take a chance and be rewarded with 15 nominations. A great team effort and so well deserved by Steven Soderbergh, Matt Damon, Richard LaGravanese, Jerry Weintraub and all the people that made Behind the Candelabra so effective."

Jesse Tyler Ferguson -- nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Modern Family -- "I'm thrilled and honestly surprised by this nomination today! I just got off the phone with Eric Stonestreet who was the first to congratulate me. Carrie Preston - nominated for Guest Actress in a Drama for her recurring role on The Good Wife -- "I was walking my dog in Midtown Manhattan this morning when my texts started blowing up with 'Congratulations!!' At first I thought, congratulations for what? And then I stopped dead still in the middle of the crowded sidewalk and started repeating 'Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.' But in NYC, I'm sure I just looked like another crazy person."
Jimmy Fallon -- on his talk show Late Night With Jimmy Fallon being nominated for Best Variety Series -- "We had a great year. Congrats to everyone at Late Night. We work so hard."

Mark Burnett & Roma Downey -- producers of History Channel's The Bible, which was nominated for Outstanding Miniseries or Movie -- "We are honored that our peers have nominated The Bible for an Emmy. We are thrilled we get to share this nomination with our tremendous cast and crew from all around the world who worked so hard with us to bring the epic story of the bible to the screen."

House of Cards Executive Producer Beau Willimon on the historic nominations for the Netflix-created show -- "All of us at House of Cards are honored by the nominations.
