Timberlake and N' Sync Briefly Reunite at VMAs

Among the many highlights at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, none got quite as much riotous love as the fun, albeit brief, reunion of 'N Sync.

Rumors had been flying since last week that the beloved former boy band would be reuniting for a live performance at the VMAs, and the possibility of the nostalgic reunion set the internet ablaze.

And now, fans the world over got a taste of what they wanted.

When Justin Timberlake came out to perform, after being honored with the Michael Jackson Vanguard award, he began with a bombastic medley of his solo hits. Once he brought sexy back by wearing his suit and tie, (insert various other puns based on his music here), the lights dimmed and the four other members of the band once called 'N Sync rose from underneath the stage.

Justin Timberlake then sang part of Bye Bye Bye with them, and suddenly the reunion was over as quickly as it had come. Timberlake waved goodbye to his former band mates and continued on with the retrospective of his own career.

Toward the end of the show, Timberlake returned to the stage, sans 'N Sync band members, to accept his award for Music Video of the Year for the song Mirrors.
