Stars Talk Emmy Fashion on the Red Carpet

Every year the biggest and best in television acting and production congregate at the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize and honor each other's achievements. And, like any big Hollywood extravaganza, the stars have to dress to impress.

"It's a whole team of people who get stuff together for me," said Emmy presenter and former West Wing star Allison Janney when asked about her ensemble. "Lord knows I couldn't swirl this up by myself."

Modern Family star Sarah Hyland was stunning in a gorgeous emerald green and black lace dress, which she actually designed herself.

"I co-designed this dress with Carolina Herrera," Hyland said. "It was a lot of fun. When I was filming a movie in London, I started drawing up some sketches. I drew up about ten, and sent them over to her and her people. I got two sketches back and a bunch of fabric swatches to decide on. I decided on green and black.

"Then we added all the lace here," Hyland added, gesturing to the black lace covering up her chest. "Because it was a bit too J-Lo."
