The 71st Annual Golden Globe Award nominations were announced this morning in Beverly Hills and we've got all the latest star reactions.

Matthew McConaughey - Best Performance by an Actor in a Drama for Dallas Buyers Club: "I'm excited and honored that the HFPA has recognized my performance in Dallas Buyers Club.  Ron Woodroof was a revolutionary for the human spirit, and I was blessed to tell his story. I’m looking forward to spending the evening at the Golden Globes on January 12th."

Jared Leto - Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for Dallas Buyers Club: "This is absolutely incredible. I want to thank the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for shining a light on Dallas Buyers Club and for celebrating independent cinema. I'm blown away by this Golden Globe Award nomination and so thankful to the incredible filmmakers for inviting me to help bring a fascinating story to the screen. This has been an unforgettable experience and I'm so very grateful to you all."

Michael Douglas - Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Behind the Candelabra: "Wow! Thank you Hollywood Foreign Press. Congratulations to Matt, everybody involved with Candelabra, and our fellow nominees."

Joaquin Phoenix - Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy for Her: "Thanks to the Hollywood Foreign Press for recognizing Her.  Spike wrote a wonderful story and I couldn't be more pleased for him."

Julia Louis-Dreyfus - Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical for Enough Said AND Best Performance By an Actress in a Television Series for Veep: "I'm thrilled and so grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press.  One question: does this mean I need two dresses?"

Steve McQueen - Best Director - Motion Picture for 12 Years A Slave: "Thank you very much to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for acknowledging our efforts in making 12 Years A Slave. I am delighted for my cast and crew who worked so hard on this film to shine a light on a forgotten American hero, Solomon Northup."

Kerry Washington - Best Actress in a TV Series - Drama for Scandal: "I'm enormously grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press for this honor. It's humbling to be nominated alongside such talented and hard-working women whose work inspires me."

Kristen Anderson Lopez and Robert Lopez - Best Original Song Let It Go from Frozen: "We are so grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for this nomination. We put a lot of ourselves into Let It Go, and getting to work with Disney and Idina Menzel has been a dream come true for us."

Bruce Dern - Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture - Comedy for Nebraska: "What's wonderful about this nomination is that we started the journey a long time ago and it's so fantastic that people are supporting Nebraska. We are so happy that the Hollywood Foreign Press has given this movie a lot of love. With teammates like June Squibb, Will Forte and the rest of the cast, Alexander Payne gave us the best that we could have asked for."

June Squibb - Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for Nebraska: "Today is marvelous. I'm thrilled that Nebraska is now being seen by so many people and they realize what a special movie it is. And I'm honored to be in the company of my fellow nominees."

Judi Dench - Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for Philomena: "What great news! I'm delighted, and hugely honoured to be in such magnificent company. And without the inspiration of Philomena herself I wouldn't of course be receiving this recognition."

Alfonso Cuaron - Best Director - Motion Picture for Gravity: "What a great year for cinema!  I'd like to congratulate my fellow nominees and, of course, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for recognizing Gravity with four Golden Globe nominations. I had wonderful collaborators both in front of and behind the camera who took something of a leap of faith with me years ago when we set out to make this film. I share this honor with all of them. I'm very happy too for Sandy who brought this story to life and for Steve whose score drives so much of the film's emotion, for their well-deserved nominations."

Michael Fassbender - Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for 12 Years a Slave: "I'm humbled and honoured to receive this nomination from the HFPA and thrilled for my friends Steve, Chiwetel and Lupita. Jennifer Lawrence - Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for American Hustle: 'Thank you to the HFPA. This is so exciting. I'm thrilled that the film received so many nominations and that I get to share this with the rest of the cast."

Monica Potter - Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Parenthood: "This was a completely unexpected wonderful surprise! I'm so thankful to the HFPA for recognizing all the hard work we (cast/crew) put into Parenthood. And, I'm so honored to be in the company of such talented women. I can't wait to go to the party of the year!"

Kate Winslet - Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for Labor Day: 'I'm extremely surprised and absolutely thrilled to be included this year!!‎ Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association."

Leonardo DiCaprio- Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy for The Wolf of Wall Street: "I'm truly honored to be nominated by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association today. Getting this movie financed and off the ground was a dream of mine for over 6 years, and is a testament to the true collaboration between Red Granite, Sikelia, Appian Way and Paramount. This film would not have been possible without the genius of Martin Scorsese, and this incredibly talented cast and crew. Making "Wolf of Wall Street" was one of the highlights of my career. Thank you again to the HFPA for their support"

Idris Elba - Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom: I'm truly humbled and honored to be acknowledged for two projects that, though very different from one another, are both extremely personal and special to me. Bradley Cooper - Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for American Hustle: "I'm humbled that the HFPA recognized American Hustle in such a big way. I'm so happy for David O. Russell and really proud of this film. To work alongside Christian, Amy, Jeremy, Jen and the entire cast of this film is a real honor."

Sandra Bullock - Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for Gravity: "The reason I am lucky enough to receive this wonderful nomination from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, is because Alfonso Cuaron awarded me the most extraordinary experience, which was to work with him!"

Oscar Isaac - Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy for Inside Llewyn Davis: "Working with the Coen brothers on Inside Llewyn Davis was a life changing experience. I'm grateful and humbled that the HFPA recognized my work in the movie."

Emma Thompson - Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for Saving Mr. Banks: "Making this film was the most satisfying and thrilling job I've had in years. It was a privilege to work with a team of people who couldn't have been bettered. I'm really honored to be nominated."

Ron Howard - Best Motion Picture - Drama for Rush: "Rush was a bonafide labor of love project from Peter Morgan's complex and fascinating spec script through the shooting, editing and final sound design, so this nomination is especially gratifying. We are all very grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association."

Edie Falco - Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical for Nurse Jackie: "I love working on Nurse Jackie - and all the people involved....to be recognized by such a prestigious group of individuals as the Hollywood Foreign Press is a thrill and an honor."

Jacqueline Bisset - Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Dancing on the Edge: "I'm delighted. It is encouraging, which is something we all need."

Liev Schreiber - Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series for Ray Donovan: "While it is exceedingly difficult to feel worthy of anything at 5:30 in the morning, I have gathered my thoughts since and want to add my gratitude to the Hollywood Foreign Press for the nomination. Great Morning. Thank you."

Michael Sheen - Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series for Masters of Sex: "Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. I am immensely proud to be part of such a quality production. This honor is a reflection of the work of everybody involved. I feel it’s impossible to separate out individual performances or achievements and so this is a recognition of the whole team."

Jon Voight - Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-series of Motion Picture Made for Television for Ray Donovan: "My work is my love, so I am deeply grateful and honored to be given this prestigious nomination. I am so proud to be part of a show that lets me work with so many great, talented people. I'm looking forward to this coming season with great anticipation. I, myself can't wait to see what Ann Biderman and the writers have in store for me.  I'd like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press who have been very supportive and loving to me over the years."

Corey Stoll - Best Supporting Actor in a Series for House of Cards: "I've never been more lucky than to be given the chance to play a character as full of humanity and contradiction as Peter Russo. That the HFPA chose to single this performance out amongst all the great performances this year is a testimony to Beau Willimon's writing, David Finchers's vision, Kevin Spacey's leadership, the rest of the cast's talent and Netflix's courage."

Daniel Brühl - Best Supporting Actor for Rush: "I am deeply honored by this nomination. Thank you to the HFPA for all their support, to be nominated in the company of such inspiring and esteemed actors is incredible. Thank you to Ron Howard for believing in me and giving me the opportunity. I am so proud the film has been recognized as well, and delighted for Peter Morgan, Chris Hemsworth and the whole team. Lupita Nyong'o - Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for 12 Years a Slave: "I can't express the excitement I felt hearing my name called while listening to the nominations from Paris this afternoon.  I screamed and the tears started immediately; I was so overwhelmed! I am so happy for Chiwetel, Michael, Steve, John, and Hans. 12 Years a Slave means so much to me and having the Hollywood Foreign Press recognize it as it did, is just beyond words."

Amy Adams - Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical for American Hustle: "I am so honored that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has recognized my work alongside such brilliant actresses. Also a huge congrats to the amazing writers, directors, and casts of American Hustle and Her for their nominations. Truly a day for gratitude."

Robert Redford - Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama for All Is Lost: "This was unexpected, but well received. J.C. Chandor has created a unique and wonderfully designed frame for me to step into as an actor.  I enjoyed the experience, I enjoyed him, and I am appreciative of this acknowledgment by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association."
