One more, please! Today, The Big Bang Theory received its third Best TV Comedy nomination for the Golden Globe Awards, and while they are certainly flattered, show star Jim Parsons doesn't know that the cast is "the biggest high-fiving group."
"If prompted [to high five], I'll respond," said Parsons, who received his own nomination for Best Actor in a TV Comedy, adding, "but I'm not going to really initiate."
The reluctance to go up top should not be mistaken for a lack of gratitude, however.
When asked how the cast has responded to Big Bang's continued awards recognition, leading lady Kaley Cuoco said that, "it took a few years for anyone to even really notice us at all. So now after this many years, and we still love what we're doing, for them to take notice, it means a lot... it is special."
In addition to The Big Bang Theory's accolades, it was a good day for the show's network CBS as well, which scored nominations in three major categories-- broadcast, cable, and film.
