Kerry Washington Confirms Pregnancy on Red Carpet
Kerry Washington confirmed her pregnancy while stepping out on the Golden Globes red carpet Sunday night, referring to her baby bump as her "best accessory."
The 36-year-old Scandal star -- decked out in an elegant gray Balenciaga gown -- told E! News upon her arrival to the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, "I feel like I have the best date of the night, my little accessory here."

The fashion-forward Washington is nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Olivia Pope on the hit ABC show Scandal. "I'm enormously grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press for this honor," she said of her Golden Globe Award nomination. "It's humbling to be nominated alongside such great talented and hard-working women whose work inspires me."
Several media reports speculated in recent months that Washington was pregnant. Last July, she secretly married San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.
