Why Didn't McConaughey Thank Anyone In SAG Speech?

Matthew McConaughey has been on a roll, blowing away the competition as awards show after awards show heaps praise and trophies on the dedicated star of the acclaimed film Dallas Buyers Club, and the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards were no different.

's Rocsi Diaz was backstage at the SAG awards, and she got to sit down with McConaughey after his big win Saturday night.

One big question on everyone's mind was why McConaughey didn't thank anyone during his speech.

"I didn't want to thank anybody. I wanted to talk about acting," McConaughey explained. "I've thanked people in other speeches. I wanted to talk about this journey, this adventure that we get to go on as actors. That's what I wanted to talk about tonight."

Fitting, given it was an award specifically given to actors, by actors, for acting.
