Wolfgang Previews Governors Ball Menu
In addition to perennial stars such as Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, there's another mainstay at the Academy Awards -- Wolfgang Puck, who shared with Nancy O'Dell a couple of the dishes he prepared for the stars after the big show.
In addition to a birthday cake, celebrating Puck's 20th year catering the Governors Ball, stars will be treated to everything from sushi, lobster and octopus to chicken pot pie, wiener-schnitzel and macaroni and cheese. There are also a few off-the-menu options that were made available by request.
"Ellen DeGeneres and Natalie Portman are vegan so we made, like, 10 different vegan dishes," said Puck. "Sidney Poitier asked me, 'Can you make me some fish?' I'm making him some fish."
With so many meals to prepare, Puck recruited a special assistant this year -- his eight-year-old son Oliver.
