The 2014 ESPY Awards, also known as the Excellent in Sports Performance Yearly Awards, were live in Los Angeles on Wednesday night at the Nokia Theater.

Rapper Drake hosted the evening-- which was filled to the brim with memorable segments. SportsCenter anchor Stuart Scott talked about his battle with cancer during his acceptance speech for the Jimmy V Perseverance Award, while Michael Sam - the first openly-gay football player to be drafted into the NFL – won the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
