Nicki Minaj
had a busy weekend in the headlines. First she started taking heat for her controversial lyric video for her song "Only," and then she debuted a brand new song at the MTV Europe Music Awards – which she also hosted.

Between hosting segments, Minaj also performed a medley that did not disappoint.

The rapper, sitting in a golden throne and surrounded by fog and bright pink lasers, started her three-song medley performance with her hit song "Super Bass", and it was clear that she knows how to put on a spectacular show.

The medley then transitioned into a brand-new number, revealing musician Skylar Grey on a piano. The two gave everyone a taste of their collaboration with "Bed Of Lies." The song is to appear on Minaj's upcoming album The Pinkprint, which is set for a December 15 release.

Her recent singles "Pills N Potions," "Only" and "Anaconda" are also off that album.

"Bed Of Lies" is a slower number for Minaj, with gorgeous vocals from Skylar Grey whose piano accompaniment gave the song a refined pop presence.

Whatever you think about Anaconda, it is Minaj's highest charting single in the U.S. and broke Vevo's 24-hour streaming record – previously held by Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" – with over 19 million views in the first day it was live. Check out the video below for more on the racy release.
