11. Julie Bowen, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series: "Thank you, Emmys, for the nomination!" the Modern Family star tweeted. "It takes the sting out of getting shot in the head with a paintball gun. By my own kid."

10. Billy Eichner, Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program: "Just realized Billy on the Street is up for an Emmy against the Katy Perry Halftime Show," he tweeted. "Left Shark, I am going to TAKE YOU DOWN."

7. Don Cheadle, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series: "7 nominees? Clearly men in comedy is SO much more weighty and important than any other sex or category. You're welcome, America," the House of Lies star told ET in a statement, poking fun at the fact that the lead actor category had one more nomination than other categories.
