NEWS: Joe Biden to Introduce Lady Gaga's Oscar Performance of Her Nominated Song About Sexual Assault

Gaga was on hand for Hollywood's biggest night as both a performer and a nominee. The 29-year-old pop star is up for Best Original Song alongside songwriter Diane Warren for "Til It Happens to You," a powerful ballad penned for the documentary The Hunting Ground. In a moving Instagram post, Gaga opened up about her own experience with sexual assault and how it’s impacted her relationship with Kinney.

"I never thought anyone would ever love me because I felt like my body was ruined by my abuser," she wrote. "But he loves the survivor in me. He's stood by me all night proud and unashamedly. THATS a real man."

Before hitting the carpet in a custom white jumpsuit designed by Gaga's longtime stylist, Brandon Maxwell, the singer was far from glammed up in a makeup-free selfie posted on Snapchat. "I prayed this day would come," she captioned the shot.

This is hardly the first time Gaga and Kinney have set the red carpet standard for #RelationshipGoals. The couple, who became engaged on Valentine's Day 2014, never seem to be shy about locking lips in front of the camera.
