Country music is alive and well in the City of Angels!
The 2016 American Country Music Countdown Awards took place at the Forum in Inglewood, California, on Sunday night, marking the first time a country music awards show has aired live in Los Angeles in over a decade.
Luke Bryan -- who led the pack with seven nods for the night, including Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year -- took the stage for a killer performance, as did newcomers Kelsea Ballerini and Cam, as well as longtime faves Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, and Brooks & Dunn.
The ACCs hold a special place in Bryan's heart. In 2014, the "Home Alone Tonight" singer won Best Male Vocalist just one month after his brother-in-law, Ben Lee Cheshire died, and Bryan thanked fans for keeping him and his family in their prayers during the difficult time.
