Celine Dion will return to the Billboard Music Awards stage one year after giving an emotional performance in honor of her husband, Rene Angelil.
The 49-year-old singer, who was presented with the award show's Icon Award by her son, Rene-Charles, last year, was announced on Monday as a performer at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards later this month.
Drake, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, John Legend, Lorde, Nicki Minaj, Florida Georgia Line and Imagine Dragons will also be performing, with more to come.
The 2017 Billboard Music Awards airs live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 21 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC.
ET caught up with Dion backstage at last year's Billboard Music Awards, where she opened up about performing Queen's "The Show Must Go On," which was her late husband's "favorite song."
"To try to perform that song without collapsing was big enough," she explained, "and then I turned around and I saw my son. As a mother, I really, through this whole process of our new life, wanted to be strong."
"I thought I was going to make it through the whole night without tears and show strength, and love won," she said. "I just collapsed. I'm very thankful for the award and proud of my family so much."
