David Meister's Emmy Fashion Preview

Designer David Meister visited the Entertainment Tonight wardrobe closet to give us a special Emmy red carpet fashion preview just hours after the nominations were announced.
Last year, David exclusively designed gowns for host Jane Lynch. When James Franco co-hosted the Oscars with Anne Hathaway a few years back, he wore drag for a segment. David has no plans to outfit host Jimmy Kimmel in a dress, but suggests, "I would rather sequined pajamas."
His magical design touch could be a lucky charm, since Tina Fey won an Emmy in a David Meister creation. "It's the first year she went glam," he remembers. "That was a pretty cool moment."
Sofia Vergara's hourglass figure is a hot commodity amongst all the top labels. "If I had to say who I would kill or knock someone to get to, probably her," he warned Vera Wang. He's also got his stylistic eyes on Nicole Kidman, Christina Hendricks, Julie Bowen, and Jessica Lange.
One nominee that can get away with anything on the red carpet is the iconic Betty White. "Betty is above fashion," David exclaimed. "She's transcendent." But, all the other nominees and guests should pay strict attention to the advice of their stylists to avoid making the infamous worst dressed lists.
For the colors, fabrics, and silhouettes David predicts we'll see trending on September 23, watch the video.
