When asked about his favorite part of the evening, Murphy jokes about losing the award for which he was nominated (Best Supporting Actor), which was granted to Christopher Lloyd for Taxi.
Despite the excitement of being nominated for an Emmy, he reveals has his sights set on acting solely in feature films and has no intention of acting on television any longer--a vow that he kept, excluding a few voice roles he has done over the years for animated shows and specials.
