Diamonds are an Emmy Star's Best Friend

Martin Katz has jewels like no other, and the stars flocked to the celebrity jeweler's house in Beverly Hills to honor the Emmys and the launch of his new red carpet Everlon Diamond Knot Collection!

"You know, diamonds go with everything," says Debra Messing. "It makes everybody look prettier." She then rubs her shoulders and says, "Goosebumps everywhere, and I admit it: diamonds do that to me."

"Dexter" star Jennifer Carpenter observes, "The Emmys are like a rollercoaster. You get on early in the week and start putting your dress together and your shoes together, and nothing's actually done until you have the diamonds – it's the perfect finishing touch. It's when you really feel done."

And Virginia Madsen says, "The actor side of me loves to get dressed up and I feel like Cinderella when I'm in diamonds."

Other stars attending the event included Anne Heche, Brenda Strong, Alicia Witt and Jennifer Wesfeldt.
