The ET host will be supporting Clemson on the red carpet on Sunday.

ET host Nancy O’Dell is a proud alum of Clemson University, and she’s paying tribute to her alma mater -- who will play Alabama for the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship on Jan. 11 -- with her dress at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

“My Golden Globes dress has an extra special meaning this year,” Nancy explained. “My Clemson Tigers are playing for the National Championship Title the day after the Golden Globes on Jan. 11. I was confident they would be, so I have been planning for a long while on wearing an orange dress to the Globes in support of my alma mater.”

Not only is Nancy's dress Clemson orange, it also features a crystal tiger paw on the skirt! "I designed my last award show dress with Evine, whom I have my clothing line with, so I said I want to do an orange dress this time and with some Tiger paw bling on it!" Nancy said. "I thought they might think I had gone a little crazy, but they were used to my Clemson cheering as I had done it on air many times already!"

"I am probably the biggest Clemson fan on the planet and am constantly touting my Tigers on ET and other TV appearances every chance I get," Nancy added. "I’ve even got many celebrities pulling for the Tigers!"

PHOTOS: Congratulations, Dr. O'Dell! Clemson Honors Nancy

But despite a long day on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday, Nancy won't be missing the championship game. She'll be there in person!

"I promised my sweet Dad, which is where my entire family's love for Clemson started, that I would take him to the National Championship game if Clemson made it that far!" she revealed, adding that many of her family members attended the school in Clemson, South Carolina. "Dad was the pitcher on the Clemson baseball team, and they won the ACC Championship the first year the ACC conference was in existence. My brother-in-law was on the football team in 1981, the last time Clemson won the national title and I was at that game as a kid! And my nephew is an assistant grad coach on the team currently. My uncle went there, my cousins, their kids, pretty much everyone. Yep, our orange blood runneth deep."

Check out the #Clemson tailgating party I'm having at EVINE Live & what I taught Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town ! Hint...Tiger Rag! (-: My apologies to her husband whom she says is an Alabama fan and she says is gonna be si mad at her for singing along! #ClemsonFamily #CLEMvsFSU
