Sadly, you won't see Idris Elba's handsome face at the Golden Globes this year.

Elba, who's nominated for two Golden Globes -- one for Best Actor in a TV Movie or Limited Series for his role in Luther, and one for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for Beasts of No Nation -- pulled his back and will be missing the night's festivities, ET has learned.

"On doctor’s orders [he] can not get on a plane to attend the Golden Globes," his rep tells ET.

He is, however, expected to attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 30.

Although fans will undoubtedly miss the 43-year-old actor, they are getting a last-minute A-list presenter -- Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Harrison Ford.

"BREAKING! EXCLUSIVE! Harrison Ford will be presenting at tonight's #GoldenGlobes," the awards' official Instagram announced on Sunday afternoon.
