Goldie Hawn got to see a more clinical side to funny lady Amy Schumer while working on the upcoming comedy, Snatched, and she dished to ET about the experience on the Golden Globes red carpet.
"She's thoughtful. She approaches her comedy in a way that really is a bit like an equation," Hawn told ET's Kevin Frazier. "[She's a] great collaborator. I just had a ball with her."
The actresses make a hilarious mother-daughter duo for the movie, which marks Hawn's return to the big screen after a 14-year hiatus.
In the comedy, Hawn agrees to join Schumer on a vacation to South America, but they soon find themselves "Liam Neeson-ed Taken" and are forced to escape their kidnappers and try to make it back home.
Hawn wasn't nominated for a Golden Globe this year, but she told us a lot has changed at the awards show since she won for Cactus Flower in 1970.
"I remember when I won one for my first movie I ever did, and it was a sweet little gathering. Nothing like this!" Hawn said.
Hawn's daughter, Kate Hudson, also won a Golden Globe for her first nomination in 2001 when she was singled out for her performance in Almost Famous. While Hudson clearly has acting chops, her parents pointed out that she's also skilled with using Snapchat. In fact, Hudson Snapchatted from bed with Ellen DeGeneres in September, using a specially made Ellen and Kate filter.
"We usually find out afterwards!" Kurt Russell said about his daughter's snaps.
"It's just so much fun," Hawn added. "She's so good at it."
Hawn's not bad at social media herself! Before hitting the carpet on Sunday, she posted a shot of her Golden Globes prep in which the star is sprawled out in a chair while her glam squad goes to work.
"Super pumped for the Golden Globes," she wrote.
Snatched opens May 12.
