It’s been a successful evening already for Gomez, who celebrated with Swift backstage at Staples Center following her Best Music Video win for “Bad Blood.”
“Oh, I was so happy!” Gomez told ET while watching the adorable reaction video Swift shared on social media.
And it isn’t just her squad who is having a GRAMMY moment. Her ex, Justin Bieber, took home his first GRAMMY ever for his dance track, “Where Are U Now,” with Skrillex and Diplo. Gomez was genuinely happy for the “Love Yourself” singer.
“I’m very happy for him. Honestly, so cool,” Gomez told ET, going on to praise Bieber’s collaborators: “They have such a cool energy amongst all of them to be able to create something like that. It’s really great.”
In less than three months, Gomez will hit the road for The Revival Tour, which kicks off in Las Vegas on May 6.
“I’m just excited to get on the road. This album means so much to me and I put my all in it so now I’m just ready to do it,” the “Hands to Myself” singer teased of her tour. “I’m ready to go to the next level.”
