Stars Reach Out to Mickey Rourke About Dog's Death

Academy Award Best Actor nominee Mickey Rourke opened up to our Thea Andrews and Mark Steines on the red carpet at tonight's Academy Awards about the recent loss of his dog Loki, and he says that many of Hollywood's A-list reached out to him after his pet's passing.

"Loki stayed with me up until six days ago," Mickey told Mark and Thea of the pooch, who lived to be almost 18. "She just fell asleep in my arms. I think we all want to go that way."

Mickey told ET that stars including Bruce Springsteen, Al Pacino, Emma Thompson, Anthony Hopkins and director Jon Favreau have expressed their sympathy following Loki's death.

He said that this Oscar morning he attended church and "lit a candle for Loki and for my grandmother and my brother."

In addition to interviewing Mickey, ET also got Robert Downey Jr. and Queen Latifah to show their Oscar excitement! For more from the red carpet, keep checking back here all night!
