Stars Come Together to Party For a Cause

ET has all the action at the star studded Elton John Oscar party and not only is this one of the most popular events; it's also a party that's for a very important cause!

We caught up with Kiefer Sutherland, Chace Crawford, Chris O'Donnell, Fran Drescher, Kate Beckinsale, Sharon Stone and more stars as they spoke out about the special night, the importance of the party, and their admiration for the host of the evening.

"Elton is just such a wonderful person and what he works so hard for, it's such a well managed organization," Fran Drescher tells ET. "And it's so important that we continue to bring focus to people with AIDS because there still is not a cure for it."

This year's party marks the 17th annual Academy Awards event put on by the legendary singer. Although the party celebrates the Oscars, the proceeds benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

John's foundation was established in 1992 and funds programs for HIV/AIDS prevention as well as helping individuals living with the virus.
