The 'Jackie' star's rep confirmed the news to ET on Saturday.

Don't expect to see Natalie Portman in the star-studded crowd at the Oscars on Sunday.

The 35-year-old actress, who is currently expecting her second child with husband Benjamin Millepied, is no longer attending the Independent Spirit Awards or the 89th Annual Academy Awards, ET has learned.

"Due to my pregnancy, I am unable to attend the Independent Spirit Awards and the Academy Awards," Portman told ET via a statement from her rep on Saturday. "I feel so lucky to be honored among my fellow nominees and wish them the most beautiful of weekends."

Portman is up against Emma Stone, Meryl Streep, Isabelle Huppert and Ruth Negga in the coveted Best Actress category for portraying the iconic role of Jackie Kennedy in Jackie. In addition to that nod, Madeline Fontaine, who designed the costumes for the Pablo Larrain-directed film, is also nominated for Best Costume Design.

When ET caught up with Portman last month at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, she revealed she and Millepied, who also share 5-year-old son Aleph, have yet to pick out a moniker for baby No. 2.

"You got to meet a baby before [you choose a name," she explained. "Gotta meet the baby and then figure it out."
