It seems the 9 to 5 crew is too busy with their real 9 to 5s to give us a reunion!

Dolly Parton presented her friend Lily Tomlin with the Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday night, after Jane Fonda was unfortunately too sick to attend the night's festivities -- and while Parton's tribute couldn't be sweeter, it only left us -- and Tomlin -- yearning for an appearance by the singer on Tomlin and Fonda's Netflix show, Grace and Frankie.

"We're trying [to get her on the show]," Tomlin told ET's Nancy O'Dell on the red carpet. "She has so much stuff this year that I don't know if she's going to be able to do it."

"Jane and I both want her on the show. [We would be] very, very excited to have her on the show," she added. "One of these days we're trying to work it in."

Tomlin spoke more about a possible 9 to 5 reunion backstage, sharing her favorite memory of working on the 1980 film.

"There were so many really!" she raved. "We had a lot of fun. Every time we were working, we just had fun."

"I just remember the first time Dolly came out and played '9 to 5' on her fingernails," Tomlin continued. "She kept the beat and she sang that whole song and I just thought, 'If the movie doesn't make it, then this song will make it for the movie!'"

We have a feeling the trio would have just as much fun on Grace and Frankie. See the series' hilarious gag reel in the video below.
