Blake Lively supported her husband, Ryan Reynolds, in more ways than one at the Deadpool 2 premiere.
The A Simple Favor star walked the red carpet in New York City on Monday night in a custom black Brandon Maxwell dress complete with sequins and a bold crimson sash that seemed to be inspired by Deadpool's superhero costume.
On top of that fantastic nod to the Merc with a Mouth, the always fashionable Lively accessorized with long chain earrings, a cassette tape clutch that read "Chill Beats" (would Deadpool have a mixtape of anything else?) and black ankle-strap sandals.
Even her makeup perfectly matched the ensemble. The 30-year-old actress completed her look with a cranberry lip, plus charcoal nails on her hands and a burgundy hue on her toes.
ET was with Lively and Reynolds on the red carpet, where the proud husband and star of the flick gushed over how well she "rocked" the look and admitted that he would have done the same for her if she was playing the profane anti-hero.
"If she were Gwenpool, I'd be wearing the Deadpool colors as well," the 41-year-old actor said, referring to a character from Deadpool's comic book lore.
