KEVIN COSTNER's new bride CHRISTINE BAUMGARTNER looked smashing on her wedding day. We chat with her wedding gown designer, MONIQUE LHUILLIER.
Oscar® winner KEVIN COSTNER wed his longtime love CHRISTINE BAUMGARTNER over the weekend in a beautiful Aspen ceremony and tonight on ET, we bring you the all of the glamorous details behind Christine's fairy tale gown!
The bride's strapless, satin dress and handmade veil were carefully created by MONIQUE LHUILLIER. And if you think you recognize the name, you're right. The talented Lhuillier also designed newlywed BRITNEY SPEARS' luxurious, $30,000, creamy latte ensemble she wore at her nuptials to KEVIN FEDERLINE on September 18.
Christine, 30, wore an ornate, latte-colored gown, fitted on top with a full, princess ballgown skirt with handcrafted silk flowers. It was made from imported Italian fabric and featured a sweetheart neckline with delicate folds. Her golden locks were crowned with a long, lacey veil.
Wedding planner YIFAT OREN told ET the dress was perfect for Christine. "The dress was beautiful," she said. "It was romantic and vintage-y. It was so beautiful on her."
But Yifat's favorite piece was the veil. "It was really interesting because it was this beautiful, handmade lace."
Kevin and Christine were married on Saturday afternoon on the actor's 165-acre ranch in Colorado. The pair said "I do" in front of 300 of their closest friends, including MICHAEL DOUGLAS, CATHERINE ZETA-JONES, BRUCE WILLIS and JACK NICHOLSON.
