Chelsea Handler is single and conquering the world.

The 42-year-old comedian stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, where she opened up about her dating life.

“I can’t get anyone to date me,” Handler said. “You know and I’m not that really interested, to be quite honest. A little sex here and there is not even that interesting to me anymore.”

“I need to be really interested, there are too many things going on in the world that I want to be focused on. You would have to be really fantastic to get me to lose my focus,” she continued, adding that she is on dating apps.

“I’m trying to see if, like, do I still even like sex,” she shared. “I mean, I don’t think about it a lot. So, I was worried maybe I forgot about it.”

DeGeneres went on to explain that she would feel uncomfortable having a stranger show up at her hotel room after connecting on an app.

“I feel like I’m safer at a hotel room with a bunch of staff around,” Handler replied. “But, don’t take my advice -- for little girls watching, I don’t want any weird emails. I’m just telling you what I’m doing. I’m being honest.”

“I haven't met anyone really great,” she continued, before posing a question to DeGeneres. “Maybe I never will, maybe I’m just not cut out for it. I don’t think love is the answer, do you?”

“Oh, I do think love is the answer,” DeGeneres replied, adding that she likes having a partner to share her life with.

Handler explained that you can find love in different types of relationship, but that the most important thing is for women to remember self-love.

“It is important for women to have a positive outlook about [being] single,” she said. “It is empowering to know who you are and know that I won’t settle for anything less than what I bring to the table.”
