First Look! 'Star Trek Into Darkness' Teaser

If the poster for the upcoming Star Trek Into Darkness didn't have you excited for its May 17, 2013 release, then the first teaser for the highly anticipated film is sure to do the trick.
Benedict Cumberbatch, who is rumored to be playing antagonist Kahn in J.J. Abrams space sequel, begins the teaser announcing over images of destruction, "You think your world is safe. It is an illusion, a comforting lie to protect you."
Spock (Zachary Levi) and Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) return for the second film that has the crew of the Enterprise in contact with an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization. Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction.
Keep in mind, Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, opening December 14, will include nine minutes of Star Trek Into Darkness on IMAX 3D as well as the first full trailer.
But if you can't wait to see more, an international teaser has 15 extra seconds!
