Paul McCartney Performs With Nirvana

No one saw this coming in the '90s! On Wednesday night during the 12-12-12 benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy victims, Beatles singer Paul McCartney filled in for the late Kurt Cobain, taking on the role of lead singer for renowned grunge rock band Nirvana.

With Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl on drums, the band debuted their new song, as sand by the 70-year-old McCartney, called Cut Me Some Slack.

They weren't the only artists to bring down the house. Kanye West came out in a pleated leather-looking skirt for his performance and Alicia Keys, Eric Clapton and The Rolling Stones also sang for the Sandy Relief Fund benefit.

Then, Adam Sandler debuted his new hilarious rendition of Hallelujah (Sandy Screw Ya). Check it out, below:
