Then, when it's finally revealed who Gossip Girl is, lots of cast members come out of the woodwork for this shocking news. "I wasn't born into this world, maybe I could write myself into it," Dan says, revealing that he is behind the blog in the last chapter of his novel. "Every writer needs his muse."

He adds, "When Serena came back from boarding school, I wrote my first post about me. I may have been a joke but at least people were talking about me." It is also revealed that Dan's sister, Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen), was also in on it and fed him stories.

Vanessa (Jessica Szohr), Juliet (Katie Cassidy) and Agnes (Willa Holland) are seen reacting to the reveal as well as The O.C. girls Rachel Bilson and Kristen Bell, who is the Gossip Girl narrator.

Blair was furious upon learning this news saying he "ruined our lives", while Serena was "okay with it."

The future Mrs. Humphrey says of the reveal, "What he did with that power was to write a love letter. Not just to me but to all of us. It made me realize that I belong here and so does Dan."
