It's Smash stars Megan Hilty, Katharine McPhee and Jennifer Hudson liked you've never seen them before -- baring all for Entertainment Weekly in nothing but a little lingerie.

The girls grace the cover of the winter TV issue, while their co-star Debra Messing jokes about her character's costumes. "I thought it was really shocking, that it offended some people to their bone," Messing quipped. "There were some virulent things written about these scarves."

Hilty added, "Who knew that Debra Messing's scarves would become a drinking game? When I heard that, I was like, 'Really?'"

The two-hour season premiere of Smash airs Feb. 5.
