Courteney Cox admitted that despite a divorce filing in June from David Arquette, she's still quite friendly with her ex. The Cougar Town star told Ellen DeGeneres,

"He's my best friend in the world. I love him."

Cox, 48, confesses on the talk show episode, airing today, Jan. 7, 2012., "I appreciate David more now than I ever did. ... I don't recommend divorce in general, but, you know, he is my best friend and we've both grown and changed."

The actress and Arquette, 48, first announced their separation in 2010, and share custody of their eight-year-old daughter Coco. "I think we both appreciate each other more. I hope he does. I do."
