Christoph Waltz once again took on a Quentin Taratino role when he hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend and spoofed the acclaimed director's gun-toting films. However, the actor is sure to cause some controversy as he plays Jesus Christ in the faux movie trailer titled Djesus Uncrossed.
Waltz, 56, has starred in Tarantino's last two films, Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained.
"Guess who's back," Waltz, as Jesus, says as he emerges from the tomb. "No more Mr. Nice Jesus."
"He's risen from the dead, and he's preaching anything but forgiveness," the announcer adds. "Critics are calling it a less violent Passion of the Christ."
The director wasn't the only one to get spoofed. Tarantino film favorites Brad Pitt and Samuel L. Jackson were also impersonated within the funny trailer.
What do you think of the SNL spoof: funny or in poor taste?
