Alec Baldwin may be returning to the NBC family. The 30 Rock star is reportedly in talks to develop a new late night show that would air in place of Last Call with Carson Daly-- but what are his qualifications?
The New York Times broke the news that Baldwin, 55 and a father-to-be, is in line to step into the 1:35 a.m. time slot just a week after it was announced that Late Night host Jimmy Fallon would be taking over for Jay Leno on the Tonight Show in 2014.
Baldwin does have some hosting experience under his belt. The Emmy winner has hosted Saturday Night Live at least 16 times, co-hosted the Oscars with Steve Martin and has a podcast on WNYC called Here's the Thing. It is here that he's honed in on his interviewing skills by visiting celebs including Chris Rock, Michael Douglas, David Letterman, and Lena Dunham in both their homes and dressing rooms.
So, what do you think? Last Call With Alec Baldwin?
