Tilda Leads Dance Party In Ebert's Honor

By JACKIE WILLIS

April 25, 2013

Tilda Swinton knows how to throw one mean dance party. The acclaimed actress joined the late Roger Ebert's wife Chaz at the 2013 Ebertfest event in Champaign, Illinois, and got down on the floor with the 1,500 audience members for an all-out groove session.

"We're not dancing up here. We're coming down to dance with you because if we dance up here you're just going to sit and watch us and laugh," the Moonrise Kingdom star, 52, declared before heading into the audience. Swinton and Chaz then got the group dancing to Barry White‘s song You're The First, The Last, My Everything.

This dance party was all in honor of acclaimed movie critic Roger Ebert, who passed away on April 4, 2013 at the age of 70.
