Bowie Makes Star-Studded, Controversial Video

May 08, 2013

David Bowie is sure to offend with his new The Next Day music video where he plays a Jesus Christ-like singer, Gary Oldman takes on the role of a priest and Marion Cotillard dances around in her underwear.

The video is set at some sort of sex bar where all the men look to be religious figures within the Catholic church. Cotillard plays a prostitute with a severe case of stigmata who seeks help from a sleazy priest played by Oldman.

Bowie, 66, is said to have come up with the racy-religious concept for the video that was directed by Floria Sigismundi (The Runaways).
