The Transformers 4 cast and crew experienced some real-life action this week when the movie's Austin, Texas set went up in flames!
An attic in the house that the blockbuster movie was shooting in caught fire around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11. Luckily, firefighters were able to put out the flames before it caused anymore damage to the rest of the house, but there was a civilian who was transported to a nearby hospital due to injuries, E! News reports.
Transformers 4 star Mark Wahlberg and director Michael Bay reportedly sprang into action, helping grab equipment and costumes as they rapidly left the burning building.
No official word as to what caused the fire, but E! is hearing that it was due to wiring catching fire and is being ruled accidental. However, KVUE News says a crew member told them that the fire occurred during a "controlled explosion."
Regardless, Transformers 4 has lots left to shoot as the yet-to-be-titled sequel is slated for a June 2014 release.
