"I'm gonna do the thing that God put Ron Burgundy on this Earth to do: have salon quality hair and deliver the news!" Ron and the Channel 4 news team are back for Anchorman: The Legend Continues, and this time they're getting in on the ground floor of the 24-hour news channel trend.
Set in the '80s in New York City, the Anchorman favorites are back with a few new faces as well. Kristen Wiig and her "wet popcorn" hair joins the cast as Steve Carrell's love interest, while Megan Good's character is tasked with making Ron more culturally diverse. "I'm breaking down the barriers of race by assimilation," the mustachioed anchor says during an offensive dinner with her family.
Then there's 30 Rock star James Marsden who takes on the role of an anchor rival. "Look at him, he's a prince," Champ Kind (David Koechner) exclaims as they watch Marsden in slow motion.
Anchorman: The Legend Continues hits theaters Dec. 25, 2013. After watching the trailer, do you think this highly anticipated sequel will live up to the first film?
