Kick-Ass 2 hasn't even hit theaters yet and already it's receiving bad press, and from one of its own co-stars! Jim Carrey decided to take to Twitter to retract his support for the film.

The 51-year-old actor wrote on Sunday, June 23:

The R-rated comic book sequel has Aaron Johnson returning as Kick-Ass and Chloe Grace Moretz reprising her role as Hit Girl with Carrey coming in as Colonel Stars and Stripes.

Kick-Ass 2 hits theaters Aug. 16, 2013 but take a look at the trailer and let us know: Do you agree with Carrey's views on the violence of this film?
