Another 'SATC' Guy Was Asked To Lose Weight

It turns out not one, but two Sex and the City leading men were asked to slim down for the franchise.

"We told [John] Corbett (who played Aidan) to lose weight between seasons three and four," The Carrie Diaries executive producer Amy B. Harris, who also worked on SATC, revealed to E! News. "When we talked about whether or not we wanted to see John come back, we basically said we want him to come back so hot that she cannot believe it. Like, he looks so much better after she left him. And we made him lose weight."

As for the four women on the show, Kim Cattrall, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, Harris said they were "perfection." She tells E!, "It's hilarious. ...No one ever mentioned anything about their weight ever. It was just the two guys! I think the women were just predisposed to be lucky and didn't have to worry."

These musings comes after Chris Noth admitted that at the start of filming the 2008 TV Sex and the City film, he was deemed too big to play Mr. Big.

"When we were doing the movie of Sex and the City, [director and writer] Michael Patrick King came up to me and said, 'Listen, dude, we're not calling you Mr. Big because of the size of your stomach, so go lose that before we start shooting,'" the 58-year-old heartthrob, who played the love interest of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) on both the show and movies, revealed to HuffPo Live.

Do you think Aidan and Big were too overweight for SATC?
