On this April Fools' Day, who better to look to for advice than famous prankster George Clooney?! Learn from the best by checking out some of the A-list actor's best pranks over the past 12 months.
1. George vs. Tina and Amy- The Monuments Men star attempted to prank Golden Globe hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, but he couldn't pull one over on these "grown a**" comedians. Matt Damon knew something was up when he got two huge fruit baskets delivered to his home, both with notes. Damon, 43, told Letterman that the first note read: "I thought you of all people could take a joke and listen we're both really sorry." The second letter read: "If your note is part of some George Clooney prank, as I very strongly suspect it is, you A-list amateurs are going to have to step it the f**k up. We are not some easily confused starlets here. We are grown-a**, professional comedians. Please accept this fruit as a token of our sincerity. Best wishes, Elizabeth Tina Fey, Amy 'Boston' Poehler."
Turns out Clooney had penned a letter to the Golden Globe hosts as Damon, claiming that his co-star was offended by a joke they made about him. WATCH:
2. Bill Murray revealed to ET what lengths Clooney would go to prank Damon while on The Monuments Men set. "He got Damon pretty good... with his uniform. Taking his pants in a quarter-inch every week... and the rest of us just got to enjoy that."
3. Clooney also pranked his dad, Nick. The actor's dad plays an older version of Clooney's character in The Monuments Men, and when he invited his father over to watch the rough cut of the movie, he inserted a slate that read: "In loving memory of Nick Clooney."
4. Bill Murray noticed that after staying at Clooney's place, his bags felt heavier. That's because the actor had put 11 pounds of gravel in the bottom.
