'Searching For Sugar Man' Director Dead at 36

Oscar-winning director of Searching for Sugar Man Malik Bendjelloul died on Tuesday at the young age of 36.

The Swedish filmmaker passed away suddenly, but no crime is suspected in his death, Stockholm Police Sgt. Janne Gyllstedt told CNN. The cause of death has yet to be revealed.

Bendjelloul's 2012 documentary Searching for Sugar Man earned him an Academy Award in 2013. The film follows the search to find out what happened to the mysterious South African '70s rock musician, Rodriguez.
