If you expected the 2014 CMT Music Awards to only include "songs about whiskey" country music performances, you'd be wrong. The Wednesday night show in Nashville also had paint explosions, R&B artists and spoof songs.

1. Paint Party! Little Big Town got doused in paint when they sang Day Drinking.


2. Moose Knuckles!
Hosting for a third time, Kristen Bell sang a silly song about the male country crooner's style. She starts singing about seven minutes into her monologue.

Country music's beloved blonde duo Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood hit the stage to perform their energetic number.
